Mapudzi / Squashes
Usually boiled to be eaten with sips of tea or maheu.
How to prepare mapudzi
- Wash the outside of the budzi or mapudzi (squash(es))
- Cut them into your prefered sizes. My mother prefers the ones shown below
- Boil in salted water for 20-30 minutes
On serving
- you can serve the pieces as they are or
- add them to milk and make some kind of a cereal with it
